    Wireless Advocates and Car Toys are seeking an HR Services Specialist to join the team!

    MISSION & SCOPE:

The HR Specialist owns our candidate onboarding and employee transaction experience through operational support of all Wireless Advocates and Car Toys employees. This role is primarily responsible for executing HR processes and services, ensuring managers and employees have the knowledge necessary to transact in our systems, and identifying problems and solutions to ensure flawless experiences.  Additionally, this position supports data audit activities, provides customer service, and performs other operational HR support assistance where needed.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Partner with members of HR, management team, and employees on all HR backend operational and employee services issues.
    • Implement and maintain HRIS system.
    • Maintain employee files in various HR systems.
    • Assist in employee service queries and support all employee HR operational needs.
    • Provide tier-one support via phone and email to employees needing transactional assistance with ADP Employee Self Service (ESS) and Manager Self Service (MSS)
    • Verify and ensure legal compliance with the completion of the eI-9.
    • Administers pre-employment requirements including background requests, drug-screen, MVR and employment verification tickets.
    • Follow-up and ensure adherence to Work Opportunity Tax Credit [WOTC] Program. 
    • Timely and accurate completion of unemployment claims.
    • Responsible for new and existing manager training on ADP portals and associated HR business processes. 
    • Ability to interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures and programs.

     

    WORKING PARTNERSHIPS:

    • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with employees and managers across the enterprise; work closely with all members of the HR team to ensure flawless transactional support; create an outstanding experience for employees and managers as customers of HR.

    Qualifications

     Qualifications:

    • High school diploma required; some college or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • 1 to 3 years of HR experience. Experience in a high volume, fast paced customer service or call center environment may substitute for some HR experience.
    • Proven attention to detail and the ability to prioritize the most important work to provide the best service and experience to employees and managers.
    • Must be able to multitask and manage workload, effectively addressing conflicting priorities daily.
    • Strong technical bent; proficient in MS Office suite, experience with HRIS and HMS strongly preferred.
    • Ability to identify problems, identify root cause solutions, and create efficiencies daily.
    • Strong internal and external customer service focus with an ability to develop solid working relationships.
    • Possess a high level of integrity – must show good judgment and demonstrate confidentiality always.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to communicate professionally and effectively via phone, email and in person.
